Naturtint USA is the exclusive U.S. distributor of a globally loved, plant-enriched hair color and care line. For years, they focused on wholesale and Amazon sales—but with growing pressure to move inventory and expand reach, they needed a scalable Direct to Consumer (DTC) strategy, and fast!
Acting as their full-service marketing department, we built and launched an eCommerce presence from the ground up, from designing a conversion-focused Shopify site to building the brand’s voice and visuals across all digital platforms.
Our goal? Help them move units, grow community, and finally show up online in a way that matches their product quality.

Design & Development
We redesigned the Naturtint USA website on Shopify with a focus on education, ease of use, and conversion. The new eComm site empowered customers to confidently shop for the right hair color and care routine, while also supporting promotions and loyalty program visibility.
Alongside the digital revamp, we initiated and designed a packaging refresh to modernize the brand’s visual identity – elevating the look and feel to positioning the brand to appeal to mainstream retailers and today’s ingredient-savvy shopper.

Automations & Campaigns
We developed a full-scale email marketing strategy, combining weekly campaigns with automated flows to drive retention and revenue. Our team built seven custom automations, including a Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, and Product Education flows, that consistently accounted for 15% of all direct-to-consumer sales.
Campaign revenue grew by 200% year over year, subscriber growth averaged 30% YOY, and open rates improved by 61% – all while maintaining brand voice and value-driven storytelling.

Community & Connection
We launched and managed a year-long influencer program to help Naturtint USA reach new audiences and build trust through authentic, user-generated content. Over 25 creators shared their hair color routines across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok – leading to a 58% increase in engagement rate after the first campaign launch.
As the program gained momentum, engagement continued to climb quarter over quarter, and affiliate sales generated over $38,000 in revenue, proving the power of community-led marketing.
